We are planning a Ground Team exercise for the end of this month on our 5th Sunday (August 31st) with the Frisco squadron to get all interested cadets signed off on GTM 1, 2, and 3. In lieu of that, there are a few things that you will need to have prior to being able to be signed off on everything. Click this LINK for task sheet information.
Things that you will need are as follows:
-A blank GTM 1, 2, or 3 SQTR (Found under 'Ops Quals' in eServices)
-A 24-Hour pack (contents are on page 5 of the task sheet. YOU DO NOT NEED CONTENTS FOR 3-DAY PACK!!!!!)
-Full set of BDU's
The majority of these items are available at dollar stores (ponchos, duct tape, glow sticks, flash lights etc) other than moleskin and antiseptic ointment (i.e. neosporin) I can provide the First-Aid supplies.
CAP Color Guard Academy
"Do you want to make a difference in Texas Wing, to leave behind a step that will later become legacy? Now’s your chance. Applications are now being accepted for the Texas Wing Cadet Color Guard Academy! This activity was founded as the first attempt to standardize and promote Color Guard procedures and events within Texas Wing. Participants (both senior and cadet) should read the Ops Plan thoroughly before submitting their payment and forms. All information for the application process is contained within the Operations Plan."
